About Us
Ichlu Reim is a soup kitchen located in the heart of Jerusalem, but really it is so much more than just that. Every day, hot, nutritious lunches are served on site or home delivered to over 300 needy individuals. These include the elderly, the very sick, abused women, lone soldiers, Holocaust survivors, mentally challenged people and families who are living below the poverty line and cannot afford to feed their children. The organisation is a registered charity and is approved by both the religious and the Jerusalem City authorities.

The doors are open to all. Ichlu Reim does not discriminate between background or religion. Sadly, the scourge of poverty in Israel is increasing; as a result, demand for the services Ichlu Reim offers is escalating.

Ichlu Reim was founded and is personally managed by Uriel Mallul. Here in the modern and bright facility that is Ichlu Reim, Uriel together with his family and staff make a point of welcoming  diners with warmth, kindness and respect; the all important “personal touch”

Help extends beyond just food, particularly in emergency situations. Offers of clothes, practical assistance and emotional support are willingly given, always maintaining the dignity of the individual.
